Read Numbers 1:1 through 2:34
Chaos exists throughout this world: crime, disease, war, natural disasters. We also experience chaos in our own lives from demanding schedules, financial overload, illness, and broken relationships. Is there a remedy for the deluge of confusion that surrounds us?
No one can rectify the disorder in the world. But God, the Creator of the universe and everything in it, is a God of order. He can show us how to remove the chaos from our personal lives.
The Israelites did all this just as the Lord commanded Moses (Numbers 1:54).
If we read God’s word we will see His model for a spouse, parent, child, and friend. We will learn how to be a good steward of the assets He gives us. We will receive instruction on healthy eating and clean living.
Overcoming the chaos in our lives is possible because, as Christians, we have the Holy Spirit to help us as we trust God’s Word and apply its instruction to our daily lives. After all, our Maker knows and wants what is best for us.
Prayer Suggestion:
Father, help me do what You have commanded so my life will exhibit Your orderliness.
